Step into Marrickville Town Hall and be swept away by the mighty “little” Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ. At the console is Australia’s own Scott Harrison—an international virtuoso who has been performing on theatre organs since 1987. Appointed City Organist for Moorabbin’s celebrated 4/21 Wurlitzer at just 18, Scott has since headlined concerts across Australia, New Zealand, the United States and England, earning a reputation for fusing classical finesse with irresistible jazz, movie and popular favourites. His infectious showmanship and encyclopaedic command of registration make every stop change a piece of theatre in itself, and—as he likes to say—“music makes the world go round.” Join us for an electrifying afternoon where Scott’s artistry and Marrickville’s historic Wurlitzer combine to create a memorable sonic spectacle.
